How we work - Propharmabi

How we work

We listen first, then decide together

Every company is different. Every sector is different. Every client is unique. But there’s one thing all our partnerships have in common: they begin with careful listening
Our approach is based on consultancy — we don’t offer standard solutions for generic needs. Instead, we guide you toward the best solution for your specific situation. We begin by listening to your needs. Together, we analyze the context, identify challenges and opportunities, and assess the available resources. This phase is an investment in building a trust-based relationship: our goal isn’t to sell you our services at any cost, but to provide exactly what you need

Once these elements are clarified and a shared project plan is defined, you can choose the type of collaboration that best suits your requirements. We offer our expertise even before the project begins: years of experience have taught us how essential this initial analysis is for the success of any initiative, even the smallest.
A thorough assessment at the early stages of basic design — including the proposed solutions and their impact on required investment and management costs — ensures a clear definition of costs and reliable contracts that specify the nature and scope of the work. Even if you already have a well-developed project, we will still take the time to understand how our consultancy and activities can integrate synergistically with other collaborators and phases of your plan.

Turnkey and modular solutions

We can partner with your company under various contractual arrangements.
We can support you in completing a project managed internally by your team, by carrying out specific parts such as:
  • Investment cost assessments
  • Interaction with public authorities
  • General contractor services
  • Project management
  • Worksite coordination
  • Interior works and HVAC finishes
  • Instrumentation and digitalization of mechanical/process systems
  •  Utility production and distribution
  •  Administrative procedures
  • Mechanical documentation
  • Equipment and facility qualification and validation

General Contractor

Alternatively, we can act as a General Contractor. In this model, Propharmabi takes care of the management and execution of a construction or renovation project, coordinating all activities, suppliers, and subcontractors. The level of client involvement is contractually defined before the start of the project; for example, the General Contractor may handle only the construction phase, leaving the client responsible for furniture and equipment installation.

Turnkey solutions

The most complete option is our Turnkey service. Entrusting Propharmabi with a turnkey project means we handle everything from start to finish. You will receive a fully functional facility, ready for immediate use. Whether starting from an empty lot or an existing building, you won’t need to manage a thing — not even administrative procedures or supplier contracts. For General Contractor and Turnkey services, Propharmabi works with a network of proven consultants, extensively tested in delivering high-value, complex investments.

Choosing the turnkey solution offers several advantages:
  • Reliability: the client receives a guaranteed, fully operational final product.
  • Reduced complexity: a single point of responsibility for the entire project.
  • Cost optimization: lower risk of budget overruns thanks to integrated planning.
  • Flexibility and customization: solutions tailored to your exact requirements.

Workflow

1

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
It is the first and most creative phase of the design process, during which the fundamental guidelines of a project are defined, with careful evaluation of regulations and user requirements (GMP, FDA, ISPE, etc.).

2

DETAILED DESIGN
Detailed design of all works and/or equipment. This phase marks the transition from concept to executive project, translating general ideas into concrete and feasible solutions. At this stage, the project takes a definitive form, ready for implementation.

3

CONSTRUCTION
This phase involves the technical, administrative, and accounting supervision of the entire execution process. Management and coordination of the works ensure that the execution complies with quality standards, scheduled timelines, and the efficient and compliant implementation of design solutions.

4

QUALIFICATION
After commissioning and testing, the qualification of environments and equipment is a systematic process aimed at ensuring that the spaces and equipment used in the production, preparation, and control of products are suitable for performing their functions in compliance with current regulations and required quality standards.

5

AFTER-SALES SERVICES
Maintenance and requalification of environments and equipment are fundamental processes to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines, ensuring that production and control operations are carried out in compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
